The Enem-Omni group commenced business in 1972 following the independence of Bangladesh, as a ship's agency in Chittagong following decades of experience in this trade.

Enem emerged as the largest customs brokerage in the country Customs clearing & forwarding and logistics service provider for nearly 100% of the exports & imports of the nascent readymade garments industry.

Enem Express Ltd., pioneered international freight forwarding by ocean, air and land: and created history by being the 1st IATA approved & FIATA registered cargo agency in the country handling nearly 100 % of national exports trade from Bangladesh by ocean & air.

a. Issuing the 1st House Bill of Lading, 1st House AirWayBill, consolidation, breakbulk.

b. Introduced international courier service in the country. Partnered with EMERY USA courier company.

c. Partnered with every major global international logistics company by virtue of being the first and only logistics company in Bangladesh.

d. We continue to be market leaders on specific trade lanes.

e. We introduced air & ocean consolidation & breakbulk services in the country offering consultancy to the national Customs & ocean & air Port authorities re documentation, operations, handling & every aspect of these operations.

f. Partnered with almost every major global international logistics company by virtue of being the first and only logistics service provider in the country viz., Schenker Germany, Kuehne Nagel Germany, Fritz USA, EXEL, MSAS UK and companies in every continent and country trading with Bangladesh.

We continue to be market leaders offering full logistics services.

g. We introduced covered vans/trucks for the transport of readymade exports & accessories imports between between Dhaka & Chittagong etc., wih 46 Mitsibishi FK2 trucks in 1985.

h. We opened our 1st overseas logistics office in New York USA in 1989.

i. We distributed health products to over 800 addresses all over Bangladesh on account of USAID/FPIA.

We owned & managed a finance company registered under the USA Banking Commission in New York USA, with offices in Canada in 1992.

INTERNATIONAL PRESENCE

We started an office & warehouse in Toronto Canada in 1990 importing & distributing readymade garments, jute goods etc., from Bangladesh & leather goods from Pakistan.
